We ensure that all staff are certified in CPR, WHMIS, Fire and Safety and NVCI; are oriented to RJF and specific healthcare facility policies and procedures; are trained in their relevant fields of expertise; possess a clean criminal record and have a thorough background review to ensure and maintain a safe and professional environment for each client, resident and patient.

Earn While You Learn™

RJF created the Earn While You LearnTM program to meet clients’ staffing needs with well-trained, professional personnel and provide students with hands-on, practical experience and certification. This Health Association of Nova Scotia (HANS) approved program is geared toward training Continuing Care Assistants (CCA) and is tailored to suit the needs of clients such as local nursing homes, homecare agencies and hospitals. The concept allows students to train part time while they work in home care up to 48 hours a week. Allowing you flexibility and income while you achieve your career goals.

Other personnel such as Patient Attendants and Home Support Workers can benefit from attending our Personal Care, Body Mechanics and Communication modules of the CCA training program to upgrade their skills for advancement as well as participate in over 150 online training courses for your continued professional development.

As an employer in Nova Scotia, RJF realizes the challenges of heathcare staffing and training and welcomes partnerships with other organizations to discuss your training needs. All instructors are highly professional, qualified and specialize in adult education within the healthcare field. Should you be interested in discussing training opportunities, please contact us.
